Racism, Now that’s a harsh word. We all know what “Racism” is in general, but have you actually learned about it from outside your school? Well, if not, this is a great place to start! For my Bat Mitzvah project I have decided to try and get more people aware of what is happening around the world. From what you may already know, Black Lives Matter (BLM) is what most people are aware of at the moment. We all have probably heard of it at least once.  [If you are unfamiliar, I encourage you to click through.]

I plan to use my platform, this blog, to share current events, big ideas, and ways to make a difference in your community. Maybe even you will try and do something for yourself! Who knows! Even if you just want to join me for the ride, that’s perfectly fine! Well, what am I waiting for let’s start now. Oh wait sorry “What are WE waiting for” that’s better!

• Suggest ways that you can get involved in anti-racism organizations in your local community
• Brainstorm new kinds of anti-racism activities
• Share feedback from you
